A Donegal GAA player was left star struck when he bumped into one of the world's greatest ever strikers!
Well-known Dungloe GAA player Gavin Ward met Brazilian World Cup winner Ronaldo on his way home from his honeymoon.
Ward who still plays for the Dungloe senior side and was also a strength and conditioning coach on Jim McGuinness's backroom team when Donegal won the All-Ireland in 2012.
Ward was a massive fan of the former Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSV striker who is regarded by many as being the best striker to ever play the beautiful game.
Ronaldo happily posed for a photograph with Ward - but unfortunately declined his offer to line out at full-forward for Dungloe for the remainder of the season!
Ronaldo is not the physical specimen he once was and could do with the expertise of Ward to help get him back into top shape.
Ward posted the picture above of him with Ronaldo on his Facebook timeline and quipped, 'Would be a handful yet at full-forward I'd say. Big man.'
