Carl McHugh netted a crucial winner for Plymouth Argyle against AFC Wimbledon tonight in the Southern first-round of the Johnston Paint Trophy.
Plymouth got off to a disastrous start and looked like they were heading for an early exit.
They conceded two early goals after just 25 minutes but Plymouth launched a stunning comeback.
Jake Jervis notched one for Plymouth just before the interval to give them hope.
Ryan Brunt then got the equalizer before McHugh netted a superb winner.
AFC Wimbledon failed to clear their lines and McHugh was on hand to fire home the winner.
