Harvey's Point is almost booked out for Christmas.
A well-known Donegal hotel claims it is almost three quarters full for Christmas with packages costing a cool €749 per person.
Harvey's Point, outside Donegal Town, says bookings for their three night package to coincide with Santa's arrival are up on last year.
General Manager of the four star hotel, Deirdre McGlone, says many of those who have booked their stays this year are people who have stayed at the hotel for many years.
"We have regular guests who come for Christmas year after year and who are like friends of the family. New guests are very welcome too of course."
Packages at the hotel, which introduced the new Lodge @ Harvey's Point to cater for groups this year, includes meals, Christmas activities, entertainment and more, according to the Irish Independent.
Christmas packages are expensive to produce and challenging to organise, but clearly guests are prepared to pay to skip the cooking or washing-up in style.
And while many have decided where they will spend Christmas Day, others are already booking their Christmas party nights out.
The hugely popular Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny is already booking out many of its Christmas nights including the famous Bay City Rollers, The Priests Live In Concert and a live Frozen Show.
