A WOMAN who swindled the dole out of Stg£15k while ‘doing the double’ has been given a suspended jail sentence.
Derry woman Kathleen Murray, 53, who now lives in Donegal, admitted claiming unemployment and housing benefit from the North’s DHSS whilst working for three different organisations.
She admitted claiming the benefits for five years up until October 2010.
Far from being unemployed, she was actually working in different posts for the North West Regional College, Derry City Council and the City of Derry Airport.
The court heard it would take her 30 years to pay back the money.
She was given a two month jail sentence suspended for three years.
