TWO of the North’s most wanted criminals are living in Co Donegal.
Convicted rapist Joseph McCabe (29) and violent burglar Casey Morgan (18) had been living in Burtonport.
They are so dangerous Gardai and the PSNI have said they should not be approached.
The pair have been staying in a caravan beside a home after asking the unsuspecting person living in the house if they could stay there.
Now they are living at an address in Dungloe.
Their pictures have been released by Northern police.
Gardai detained the men and a judge ordered them to stay at an address in Dungloe so they could monitor their movements.
Morgan has been missing in breach of his licence conditions in the North since the morning of March 13 last.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Police have taken the step of warning the public about a high-risk violent offender, Casey Morgan, and to ask for assistance in identifying his current whereabouts as there is a licence recall order out for his arrest and he poses a high risk of causing serious harm.”
He is described as being around 5ft 11in, of medium build, with short dark brown hair, and he has a pierced left eyebrow.
When last seen he was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a white sweat top with red and black bands, a black zip jacket, black trainers and a camouflage-print baseball cap.
Registered sex offender Joseph McCabe was out of jail on licence after serving half of a 14-year prison sentence when he went missing on April 2.
Belfast man McCabe was jailed for 14 years in 2006 for raping and burgling a 64-year-old woman in her north Belfast home as she lay in bed reading.
At the time, the sentencing judge said that McCabe had subjected his victim to a “terrifying, prolonged ordeal.”
The judge described the attack as a “violent sexual offence carried out with significant gratuitous violence”.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Joseph McCabe (29) is described as being 6ft tall, with short, dirty, fair hair.”
