The club hosted its Annual Dinner Dance in the Sandhouse Hotel on Saturday night which was the first time the event was staged in the Parish. Award winners on the night were; Senior Player of the Year: Clint Walsh, Young Player of the Year: Shane Walsh, Reserve Player of the Year: Richard Walsh, Under 21 Player of the Year: Sam Burgess, Club Person of the Year: Mickey Quinn and Supporter of the Year: Patrick Monaghan. The club would like to thank the Sandhouse Hotel for their wonderful hospitality, Paul and Mary B for providing the entertainment throughout the night, all those who sponsored spot prizes and everyone who came along on the night. The club also expresses gratitude David Walsh and Stephen Griffin along with their partners for taking time out to attend before jetting of on the Donegal team holiday.
The club AGM is scheduled for Sunday 13th Jan at 3pm in the Community Centre. Nomination and motion papers must be returned to Mickey Quinn by Jan 3rd at the latest.
