Royal Flush Results – Royal Flush Draw results for the weekend of 03/06/2013 were 2, 8, 12, 20. There was no winner of the jackpot of €1340.
Consolation prizes went to Marie Quinn, Brendan O’Donnell & Orla McGonagle, Castletown. Next week’s jackpot now stands at €1380 and the draw will take place in Mary Murrin’s.
Monthly Meeting – The club’s next monthly meeting will be held on Monday June. 10th at 8:30pm. All members welcome.
Clothes Bank – A reminder to all in the parish there is clothes bank just outside the grounds of the clubhouse and it can be used anytime. All proceeds made goes back to the club so please try your best to support.
Adult Football – The Senior side were in action on Saturday evening last away to Pettigo. They ran out convincing winners in the end on a scoreline of 3-18 to 1-9. Scorers on the day were Cian Kennedy (1-10), Alan Lyons (1-3), Conor Shovlin (1-0), Peter Alvey (0-2), Aiden Duddy, Shane McWhinnie & Joseph Alvey (0-1 each).
Both teams in action then on Bank Holiday Monday at home to Letterkenny Gaels and each team recorded wins. Scoreline in the reserve game was Naomh Ultan 4-05 Letterkenny Gaels 1-11. Scorers were Adrian Nesbitt (3-1), Sean Furey (1-1), Martin Shovlin, Andrew Blain & Liam Kennedy (0-1).
The senior side won out to game 1-12 to 1-09. Scorers for them were Alan Lyons (1-4), Aiden Duddy (0-3), Cian Kennedy & Peter Alvey (0-2 each), Damien Quigley (0-1).
Underage Football – Congratulations to our Under 14 side who defeated Naomh Brid in the Division 3 regional final on Monday evening.
Well Done to the boys and mentors. With a relatively small panel the boys worked hard throughout the year and after some bad results in the run up to the final the team really pulled it out of the bag in the final.
They will go on the play the losers of the northern section in the County Semi Final.
