Drumkeen Old School Reunion in association with “the gathering” held their launch night recently in St. Patrick’s hall, as hundreds of old school friends prepare to gather for the big reunion. 
The weekend begins on Saturday the 3rd of August with a mass for all former pupils and teachers from 1936 – 1991 at 3.00 pm.
Following the mass they will have a meet & greet in the hall from 4.00 – 6.00 pm, with a chance to view some of the old Roll Books which date back to the 1900s, pictures and other memorabilia from that time.
At this time they also intend to recreate the photo from 1969 which was taken on the steps of the Parochial house.
On Sunday the 4th they will have their Dinner Dance reunion in Jackson’s Hotel beginning at 7.00 pm with a drinks reception followed by dinner at 8.00 pm. 
Entertainment will follow with Music by “The Tractor Boys”.
Tickets are priced at €25 and can be purchased from any committee member.
One of the highlights of the night will see the launch of the Old School Reunion calendar and DVD which will include many old photos of former pupils.
