TWO Ladies GAA matches will go ahead on Saturday in Carrick-on-Shannon before Donegal play Laois in the men’s All-Ireland qualifier.
The decision is certain to add to the headache over tickets with the Leitrim venue not expected to have a capacity greater than 12,000.
Donegal Ladies will take on Meath before the men’s game in the TG4 Round 1 Qualifying Matches.
“The TG4 Round 1 Qualifying Matches that are due to take place at Carrick on Shannon will take place in the same venue,” said a LGF spokeswoman.
“The two matches will take place on Saturday with Clare Ladies Football and Kildare Ladies GAA throwing in at 1:30 and the second game between Westmeath and Donegal Ladies Gaelic to start at 3:15. The Donegal and Laois GAA match will take place after both fixtures.
“Tickets issued are for all three matches.”
