A property in Ramelton which once was valued at €200,000 has been snapped up by a local couple for just €57,000.
The property located in Lennon Grove is a three-storey town house which has four bedrooms, and three bathrooms.
The house was once priced at over €200,000 and at the auction six bidders battled to snap up the property.
Mr Dean Spencer, the auctioneer from Sherry Fitzgerald Rainey said
“The winning bid has reflected yet again an upward trend in the lower end of the market.
“Property is now generally selling for a bit more than the reserve price as directed by vendors.
“It is clear that recent sales have shown clear indications that the price of cheaper houses had bottomed out and were now rising.”
