H&M have officially confirmed that they will open a new Letterkenny store next month which will create 20 new full time and part-time jobs. 
The move was revealed by Donegal Daily in June before the official announcement was made yesterday.
The store will open at the Letterkenny Retail Park on Thursday, September 19.
The new jobs will give another much needed boost to the local economy here in Donegal.
The company had been granted planning permission in May to remove a party wall separating two units at the retail park.
The new unit will have a total ground and first floor sales area of 1,600 square metres or 17,200 sq ft.
H&M is a Swedish multinational retail-clothing company, known for it’s fast-fashion clothing for men, women, teenagers and children.
The store exists in 43 countries and employs close to 100,000 people in almost 3,000 stores.
