The main road from Kilcar to Killybegs remains closed after a major road accident in the area. 
The accident took place when an articulated lorry left the road at Bevin, the driver has been taken to Letterkenny General Hospital as a precautionary measure.
A crane is currently at the scene attempting to recover the lorry.
Motorists have been advised if travelling from Kilcar to Killybegs to go via Tawney or Muckross but should travel with caution as that particular road is narrow and the traffic is getting heavy.
