A LETTERKENNY man who used threatening and abusive behaviour towards Gardai “didn’t get out much” a court has heard.
Theo Crossan, 3 Oakswood Park, Lismonaghan, admitted being drunk and disorderly and using threatening and abusive behaviour in the town on January 8 last.
Inspector David Murphy said Gardai spoke to Crossan and another man and Crossan did leave the area at the time.
He said Crossan had no previous convictions apart from an adult caution in 2009.
Solicitor Patsy Gallagher said his client “doesn’t get out much” and found himself having consumed too much drink on the night and coming to the attention of Gardai.
He said Crossan deeply regretted the incident.
Judge Paul Kelly ordered Crossan to make a payment of €150 to Little Angels school.
