Not many people go to their local library in their pyjamas.
But Christmas celebrations at Leabharlann Phobail Ghaoth Dobhair will take place this year in the form of a storytelling pyjama party for children.
Children will be treated to a reading of the popular story The Miracle of Christmas, told by well-known musician and lead vocalist with Altan, Mairead Ní Mhaonaigh, followed by lots of Christmas songs. Chilldren will also be treated with a Christmas goodie bag.
If you want to bring your children along to our storytelling pyjama party call into Leabharlann Phobail Ghaoth Dobhair to book their place and collect their ticket.
This is a free event and places are limited, so booking is essential. So come along and bring your Christmas cheer and help us celebrate this beautiful story. On the night of the party children need to bring their ticket and are invited to wear their pyjamas so they can enjoy the reading as the fairy lights of the Christmas tree sparkle in the background.
The night will kick off at 6.00pm on Wednesday, the 19th of December next.
