Everton have been dealt a severe blow with the news that Seamus Coleman has been ruled out of tomorrow night’s crucial encounter with bitter rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
Coleman had been a major doubt since limping off in last week’s 1-1 draw with West Brom at the Hawthorns with 11 minutes of the game remaining.
Coleman sat out Everton’s 4-0 win over Stevenage on Saturday.
Roberto Martinez was hopeful Coleman would feature against Liverpool on Tuesday but the game has come too soon for the Killybegs man.
Coleman has been in sensational form this season scoring six goals more than any other defender in the Premier League.
He is expected to earn a bumper contract extension at Everton following his outstanding form this season.
It was rumoured that both Manchester United and Arsenal are keen on landing the talented Donegal man, however Everton are going to do everything in their power to keep Coleman.
