GAA NEWS: KILCAR ORGANISING ‘HEART SCREENING’ FOR THEIR UNDERAGE PLAYERS

Heart Screening

The Minor Board in association with other sporting groups and Colaiste na Carraige are organizing a heart screening day in Colaiste na Carraige on Saturday 22nd February from 10:00am to 11:30am.  Kilcar

Boys and Girls aged between 14 and 18 years (ie. born between 31/12/95 and 22/02/2000) and have not been screened before are eligible.

The subsidized cost to all club members is €20 per child. Information will be forwarded shortly to all parents of children eligible.

We are also offering this service to all adult players (male and female) between 18 and 35 but at the full cost of €45 (Students €20).

Club members only. Any adult who wants to be screened should contact Kevin Lyons or John Carr before Friday 14th February.

Under 21’s

Good luck to our under 21’s who play Tyrone champions Clonoe O’Rahilly’s in the Ulster quarter finals this coming Sunday.

Courses

Foundation course coming up on 14/15th February in Donegal Town anyone interested contact Mark O’Donnell.

GAA National Club Draw

Tickets for the GAA National Club Draw can be purchased from Michael McShane or John Curran lots of great prizes and all moneys raised go back to the club see our website for more information.

It’s scor time again, if you would like to take part, acts can include solo singing,ballad groups, quiz teams, instrumental, novelty acts, recitation, ceili dancing etc.

Lotto

This week’s Club Lotto numbers were: 4, 11, 15 and 26 Lotto Plus Numbers were: 10, 16, 26 and 30 Lotto winners were €50 Noel McGinley, Cashlings, €30 Cormac Cannon, Kilcar and €20 Annette Cronin, Newtoncunningham.

No Lotto Plus winner.

The Lotto Jackpot next week is €4,000.

Bingo

Club bingo winners: €180 Evelyn Boyle, €140 Rosaline Boyle, €100 May Carr, €80 Eithne Byrne €70 Marie Cunningham and Ellen O’Donnell.

The jackpot next week is €1,300 on 45 numbers.
