Finn Harps got back to winning ways last night in the unfamiliar territory of Irvinestown in Fermanagh.
Harps were comfortable throughout and dominated much of the possession throughout against a talented but physically inferior Irish Schoolboys side.
The game was originally scheduled to be played at Finn Park but due to the adverse weather conditions over the last few weeks it was decided to move the game to an alternative venue.
Harps manager Ollie Horgan had hoped to secure a venue within the county but was unable to do so which meant both sides had to travel to Irvinestown to play the match.
Harps took the lead through Kevin McHugh and Ciaran Coll made it two just before half-time.
Carol Tiofack scored his first goal for the club in the second half and Michael Doherty added a fourth shortly after.
The Irish Schoolboys side who played good football throughout got reward for their endeavours when they scored late on.
Harps travel to Dublin on Saturday to face UCD at the Belfield Bowl and then play Dundalk next Friday night at Oriel Park.
