DONEGAL GAA SUPPORTERS CLUB RE-LAUNCH
There is a meeting this Sunday at 5.00pm in Villa Rose, Ballybofey to discuss the possibility of the relaunching the Donegal GAA Supporters Club.
The supporters club was very successful for a long number of years from the early 1990′s until it went out of existence in 2006.
It provided a great source of income to support the Donegal GAA teams over the years. With Donegal team training fundraisers being held by clubs over the last couple of years it is hoped the re-launching of this once very successful supporters group will provide much needed financial assistance to the Donegal squad in their quest to retain the Sam Maguire cup in 2013.
It is proposed that membership fee is set at €20 for adult members and €10 for juvenile members. Everyone is welcome to come along to have a committee put in place to grasp the opportunity.
Jim McGuinness and assistant manager Rory Gallagher hope to be there, training permitting, to give an insight to the work being done and to answer any questions that supporters might have about the up and coming season. It is a great opportunity to get behind the boys as they hope to become only the second team in the last 20 years to retain the Sam Maguire cup.
