The Donegal GAA team left the county in style this morning as they took a specially-chartered plane to Cork for the National League game against the Rebels tonight.
The team were given a great send-off by fans and staff at Donegal Airport at Carrickfin.
The team looked casual and relaxed as they tucked into a cooked breakfast before making the short journey south for this evening’s game.
The airport waiting lounge was even decked in the Donegal colours for the occasion.
Players including Rory Kavanagh, Neil Gallagher, Colm McFadden and management Jim McGuinness and Rory Gallagher sat and chatted with staff and friends as they waited to board the plane.
Other members of the team including Michael Murphy will travel from other parts of the country for the game.
The team will fly back to Carrickfin this evening after tonight’s game.
Many thanks to Eoin McGarvey for the pictures from Donegal Airport.
