ST EUNAN’S Minor football stars are county league champions.
They beat Dungloe by four points in a keenly contested final in Killygordon last night.
The final score – 1-10 to 1-06 – showed how close the encounter was.
A couple of late scores from Eunan’s Conor McEniff were enough to seal the Division 1 Minor title against a brave Dungloe performance.
Tony Boyle’s men were never any more than three points behind the Letterkenny men and were right in with a chance of lifting the title but long range efforts from McEniff sealed the win.
Dungloe had plenty of posession but couldn’t convert that into scores as Eunan’s were more clinical in front of goals.
In the Division 2 final Naomh Columba won by three points against Termon. The final score was 4-05 to 2-08
