DONEGAL photographer Martina Gardiner was in the right place at the right time to catch this stunning picture of last night’s meteor shower.
It may have been a bit miserable here – but Martina was on a Scottish island and got a great view.
“Despite all the pessimistic forecasts we had a few hours of completely clear skies here on the Isle of Mull,” said Martina.
“We all got to enjoy a bit of meteor watching around the cottage & then a couple of us headed off for a few more photos. Not only did we find this cute campervan on our beach but while taking a photo this huge fireball appeared. What’s the chances! Made our night!”
