Lotto & 100+ Club
There was no jackpot winning sequence in this weeks Lotto draw but Denise McGahern, Drumfergus won €30 in Lucky Dip. Numbers drawn were 1,7,2,3,5,6,4,8. Next weeks Lotto jackpot is €3,300.
The Lotto sellers in the coming weeks are: 30th November – Paddy Kelly, 7th December – Barry Bradley, 14th December – Joe Carlin and 21st December – Eamonn Kelly.
The winner of the 100+ Club draw this week was Denis McGill, Crossroads who win €100. Thanks to all for their continued support of the weekly Lotto & 100+ Club.
Minor Board
The Minor Board AGM took place at the clubhouse on Friday night last. Stephen Gallagher was re-elected as Chairman with Kathy Kelly as Secretary and Maura McCrudden remaining as Coaching Officer.
The following coaching positions were filled on the night: U6 – Lisa O’Brien, Ryan Scanlon & Diane Gallagher; U8 – Ollie Doherty & Anita Coyle; U10 – Cathal Doherty & Derek Callaghan; U12 Boys – Liam Doherty; U12 & U14 Girls – Maura McCrudden & Sabrina White; U13 Boys Lyndon Gillespie; U18 Boys – Stephen Gallagher.
The positions of U14 & U16 boys and U16 girls are still to be filled. Anyone interested in these positions should contact Stephen Gallagher on (087) 2054484.
Child Protection Course
The club will be hosting a child protection course next Monday the 2nd December. Please be aware that anyone involved in coaching or managing any underage team up to minor level must have this course done.
Please text (087) 2054484 to reserve a place in the course. Course is limited to 16 places. No person will be permitted to take on or help out with a team unless they have course completed.
Scor na nOg
We would like to thank Elaine Dullaghan, Evan Carron-Kee, Emeir Gallagher and Onagh Kelly who all represented the club at the Scor in Milford, there was very strong competition on the night but a lot of positive feedback was received from the adjudicators. A great performance by all.
As a result, we would like to begin rehearsals for next year so any child in the parish who can sing, dance or play an instrument, please contact Gleanoir (086)1506720 or Marie (086) 3242100.
Annual General Meeting
This years Annual General Meeting will take place at the clubhouse this Sunday 1st December at 5.30pm.
It is important for all to attend and new faces are welcome to come along to get involved with the club in 2014.
Dinner Dance
The annual Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday 7th December in the Villa Rose with meal served at 7.30pm sharp. Tickets are €25 and are available from Bradleys shop or any executive member. Music will be by The David Craig Band.
