Football
The under 21 B championship final replay between Aodh Ruadh and Burt takes place this Saturday.
Throw-in is at 2pm and once again we call for a big showing of Ballyshannon support to make their way down on Saturday afternoon to get behind the team.
Unfortunately, at the time of mailing we still did not have confirmation of a final venue, this will follow in an addendum.
The Bord na nÓg AGM has been rescheduled to this Sunday 1st December at 7pm in Aras Aoidh Ruaidh.
We would encourage anyone interested in underage football and our players’ parents / guardians to attend as we reflect on the year past and plan for what we hope will be a successful 2014.
Ladies
The Ladies AGM took place last Friday. There was a review of 2012 and a beneficial discussion about the coming season.
The following appointments were made. Chairman: Eoin O’Moore; Secretary: Willie Scott; Treasurer: Tanya O’Shea; PRO: Breege Scott; Senior management: Teddy Kane and Terence McShea; Minor management: Teddy Kane, Terence McShea and Grace Meade; Under 16 management: Grace Meade; Under 14 management: Unfilled; Under 12 and under 10 management: Claire Flood and Paddy Kelly; Under 8 management: Louise Foy.
Club AGM
The Aodh Ruadh AGM will take place on Sunday 8th December at 3pm in Aras Aoidh Ruaidh.
Nomination papers have now been circulated to all adult members whose e-mail details are on the online registration system.
For those who did not receive nomination papers, they are also available to print and download from aodhruadh.org.
The deadline for receipt of nominations is midnight Friday, 29th November. Anyone who requires nomination papers to be posted to them is asked to contact Emma Gaughan on 0863039610, to make arrangements.
The deadline for receipt of motions passed at midnight, Monday, 18th November.
Lotto
There was no winner of the €6,500 Aodh Ruadh Lotto jackpot last Sunday. The numbers drawn were 1, 8, 10, 11, 14 and 17.
In the lucky dip €20 each went to: Roisín Lee, Cluain Barron; Geraldine Greene, Creevy; Pat Malaniff, Coastguard Cottages; Catriona Mullaney, Laghey; and Donagh Slevin, Abbeylands.
Next draw is in McGinley’s Bar on Sunday at 8.30pm. The jackpot is €6,600 so get out there and buy your ticket; if you’re not in, you can’t win it.
