Gardai have launched an extensive search this morning after personal belongings and clothing were found near Rougey Walk in Bundoran.
The rescue 118 helicopter was deployed in Bundoran today after personal belongings and clothing were found on a coastal walkway in Bundoran.
Gardai called for the assistance of the 118 Irish Coast guard search and rescue helicopter to help them in their attempts to find the missing person after personal belongings and clothing were found on the coastal walk which takes in the views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The search and rescue chopper didn’t see anyone in the water or near the rocks around the edge of the cliffs and have since been deployed back to base.
The Gardai are continuing their search around Roguey Walk.
It has not been established whether the missing person is male or female.
